SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Neighborhood

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency explained it really is alarmed about the high range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some superior number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office dedicated to service the area regularly. The company stage developed for intervention experiences a higher influx of potential beneficiaries, which makes it hard with the office to sassa status attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra methods to permit the servicing of all shoppers and maximize use of Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
